Differences between version 1.21 and version 1.20: February 17, 1988
Major maintenance upgrade revises the printout routines to work
properly with certain "nonstandard" printers. Results are not
guaranteed, but there should be few or no line feed without
carriage return problems from now on. Printer MUST be able to
execute CR without LF, and should respond normally to ASCII
control characters FF (formfeed) and CAN (cancel).
Differences between version 1.20 and version 1.16: February 16, 1988
This is a maintenance update which fixes a possible problem
with journal entry numbers, as noted by some users. Also,
repairs the "invisible box" problem when running MYGL with a
CGA card and a black-and-white CRT.
Version 1.20 is compiled using the Microsoft C Optimizing
Compiler, version 5.0.
Differences between version 1.16 and version 1.15:
* Maintenance update, vanishing cursor in Reports Menu fixed;
cursor remained hidden on Escape from screen reports.
Differences between version 1.15 and version 1.12:
* General Journal now allows an account number more than once.
Amounts are merged into a single entry. A "transaction"
that evaluates to a one-sided zero balance will still be
ignored, same as before. Allows adding-machine-style data entry
in General Journal, as in Check Register.
* General Journal rule checking (the "THIMK" message) has been
extended somewhat to warn of more "common errors". However, as
before, there is still no prohibition, only a warning.
* Wildcards on the MS-DOS command line are no longer allowed.
* Query Accounts dialogue now honors the F3 key to examine the
Chart of Accounts.
* The default date is now reset to today's date (as read from
the system clock) whenever the Main Menu appears.
* Service Charge memorandum field no longer includes backslashes.
